Water is our state’s most precious natural resource. Yet the water we rely on has to travel hundreds, if not thousands of miles, before it comes out of the tap. A series of issues, including population growth, climate change and environmental degradation, has put the quality and reliability of our water at risk.

We need comprehensive solutions

In the late 1990s, California faced an energy crisis because it failed to build power plants to keep up with demand. We can’t afford to make that same mistake with water.

Californians for Clean Reliable Water is dedicated to finding long term solutions to California’s water problems that will improve our ability to store and move water throughout the state while restoring crucial wildlife habitats in the Delta for generations to come.
