Press Room:
Press Releases from Governor Schwarzenegger
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been traveling the state to highlight
his Strategic Growth Plan’s proposed investment in the Sacramento-San
Joaquin Delta. His $6 billion plan to upgrade California’s water
systems includes $1 billion to preserve the Delta. This historic funding
will protect California’s most significant and important source
of drinking and agricultural water. We applaud the Governor for acknowledging
the State is facing a water crisis and taking steps towards a solution.
